NOVEMBER

This month we will engage in the concepts of opposites using activities related to animals and their habitat.

We will learn that the elephant is the biggest animal and fleas are the smallest; that the giraffe is the tallest and the dog is the shortest; the ostrich is the tallest bird and humming birds are one of the smallest; the anaconda is the longest snake and the worm is a lot shorter; the hippopotamus is the heaviest and mice are the lightest.

We will be very entertained learning these characteristics and classifying them according to what we find in these different animals.

In Science and Art, we will be exploring many different materials using our 5 senses (touch, taste, sight, hearing, and smell). Because of this, we will be getting dirty very often so be sure to send an extra change of clothes everyday.

In Music, we will become adept with classical music. We will be relaxed, practicing yoga and moving along the rhythm of the music. In Gym, we will be doing exercises to practice our balance and coordination.

Rhyme of the month

ROAR ROAR ROAR (Everyone roars).
