February

This month, we will have an unforgettable experience, one to always remember.

We will learn about the nation, the constitution and our very own Aguamarina’s Government.

Each student will pick a specific job. They must explain and convince his/her peers about his/her projects and intentions.

You’ll receive the date and time to launch your campaign.

In Art, we will learn a great technique: Textures! Through them we will stimulate two different senses  sight and touch.

We will get our inspiration from great artists such as:Juan Gris and Gerard Richter.

Rhyme of the month

Para que haya paz en el mundo,
debe haber paz en las naciones.
Para que haya paz en las naciones,
debe haber paz en las ciudades.
Para que haya paz en las ciudades,
debe haber paz entre los vecinos.
Para que haya paz entre los vecinos,
debe haber paz en las casas.
Para que haya paz en las casas,
debe haber paz en los corazones.

Song of the month

Usa Anthem

O say can you see by the dawn’s early light,

What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming,

Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight

O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?

And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air,

Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;

O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave,

O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep,

Where the foe’s haughty host in dread silence reposes,

What is that which the breeze, o’er the towering steep,

As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?

Now it catches the gleam of the morning’s first beam,

In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:

‘Tis the star-spangled banner, O! long may it wave

O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave
