July

Who has not been marveled by the wonder of flying and everything that it involves? During this month we are going to explore deeply how this works. What is the difference between every mean of transportation? How can a plane fly? We will try to answer every question by involving them in the process.

The first week of the month we will be examining the differences between several constructions. We will investigate why a plane cant land in a parking lot. Why an airport is the perfect place for an airplane to land. Also during this week we will start constructing a building in order to get familiar with the constructions that are close and meaningful to us.

The second week will revolve around the making of an airport what needs to be there and why. What can give functionality to the airport . How electricity works in the airport and where it comes from. We will see how cables and wiring that goes through the building brings light to every space and room.

We will now start to work on the walls, bathroom, elevators, kitchen, floors, ceiling etc… seeing how everything comes together for a purpose. Exploring different materials will present us with opportunities to see the variety of the materials and how each one applies perfectly to its function.

Last week will be about polishing the last details of our buildings and airport. Painting the floors, Cleaning and brushing the floors, creating a beautiful park with a lot of grass and trees where people can meet and have fun.last ideas are welcomed to our construction!
